My family has been living in Uruguay since mid-2025, and while most days we're still figuring things out, we've learned so much already.
After living in five different states, we realized we weren't looking for a different city—we were looking for a different way of living.
I absolutely love living in Uruguay, but I've had a lot of sweetly-awkward moments figuring out all kinds of every-day things. Now I'm writing down everything I wish someone had told us before we moved.
Life here is different.
